WHY CHOOSE INVASION SHIELD?

humane by design
In most states, wildlife removal companies are required by their state Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to euthanize many—if not all—animals that are trapped. This requirement exists largely because trapping and relocating wildlife often results in near-certain death. Relocated animals are unfamiliar with the location of essential resources such as food, water, and shelter, and they must compete with established animals already occupying the area. A 2004 study of gray squirrels trapped in a suburban environment and released into a large forest found that 97% of the squirrels either died or disappeared from the release site. As a result, relocation is not a viable long-term solution. When animals are removed, other wildlife quickly move in to take advantage of the newly available resources, causing the cycle of trapping and relocation to repeat.
Seamless Protection, Zero Disruption
Have you ever dealt with a pest problem and felt like your own home was no longer yours? Sleepless nights listening to scratching and scurrying above your bedroom ceiling. The constant anxiety of not knowing what’s living in your attic or walls. Or the shock of discovering a colony of bats—only to be told nothing can be done for months because it’s not the “right season.”
After more than a decade in the pest control industry, I’ve seen how deeply these situations affect homeowners. Living with wildlife in your home isn’t just an inconvenience—it disrupts your sleep, your sense of security, and your peace of mind. Your home should be a place of comfort, not constant stress.
There has to be a better option than waiting for animals to settle in and cause more damage. A better option than enduring weeks or months of phone calls, scheduling delays, costly repairs, and extensive sanitization. The longer wildlife remains, the worse the damage becomes—and the harder it is to reclaim the space that was once your safe haven. You deserve a proactive solution that protects your home, your health, and your peace of mind—before a small problem turns into a costly and overwhelming one.
Stop Disease Before It Starts
Animal waste is far more than an unpleasant nuisance—it poses a serious and often underestimated threat to human health. In fact, there are at least 42 known diseases that people can contract through close contact with animal feces and urine. One of the most dangerous is leptospirosis, which can occur when insulation or other household materials are contaminated with urine from infected animals. Without prompt treatment, leptospirosis can lead to life-threatening complications, including liver failure, respiratory distress, kidney damage, infections of the brain or spinal cord, and even death.
Salmonella, another disease commonly linked to animal feces, can be contracted through direct or indirect contact. For young children, the consequences can be especially severe, including long-term kidney damage. Parasites found in animal waste can also transmit illnesses such as toxoplasmosis, which often causes flu-like symptoms, prolonged fatigue, and muscle pain that can last for weeks or longer. Even more alarming, histoplasmosis is a respiratory infection caused by inhaling microscopic fungal spores found in bat and bird droppings. When contaminated areas are disturbed—or even vacuumed—these spores can become airborne and enter the lungs, putting anyone in the home at risk.
These examples represent only a small portion of the serious health dangers associated with animal waste. Leaving contaminated materials untreated doesn’t just prolong the problem—it increases the risk to your family’s health every day. Taking action early is critical to restoring a safe, healthy living environment.
Future-proof your home
Although animals do not intend to be destructive, their presence can cause serious and costly damage in a very short amount of time—often without any visible warning. Entry holes created by wildlife allow rain and snow to penetrate attic insulation, quickly leading to mold growth and structural damage to drywall. Animals frequently gnaw on electrical wiring, creating a dangerous fire hazard that puts the entire home at risk. Meanwhile, droppings and urine contaminate attic insulation, compromising indoor air quality and creating unsafe living conditions. Until the affected areas are properly removed, sanitized, and replaced, the health and safety of the home remain at risk.

  • Very quick response and great value for the price. Would hire again without question. Found and fixed hole in foundation where rodents were entering and exterminated those inside. Mason was very informative in what he was going to do and did all he said. Didn't expect payment before work was done but I was so confident that he stood by his work that I paid before he started. Don't hesitate to hire if you are in need of a trustworthy company.
